In this course, the focus is on understanding the Generate the Surface Mesh task of the Ansys Fluent Meshing Watertight Geometry Workflow. The foundation for a good-quality volume mesh is laid by a good-quality surface mesh. Through the seven lessons that make up this course, you will be taken through the various aspects of generating a high-quality surface mesh. In the first lesson, we will look at how to choose the appropriate values for the Maximum Size, Minimum Size, and Growth Rate inputs in the task and their influence on the surface mesh. Next, we will learn about the global and local size control methods with a primary focus on curvature and proximity size functions.
