In most engineering problems, we want to predict the response of structures to an external loading/excitation, which is the real-life case. There are many examples where we may see resonance or even failure due to external loading acting at a certain frequency. We first discuss the motivation to study harmonic analysis and then proceed with formulation of forced frequency response and applications of the formulation. In this course we demonstrate the use of Ansys to model structures with external excitation along with some challenging problems/quizzes to test your learning.
